![]() ![]() That circle when you're building is the happiness radius, right? WRONG. Liberty happiness is extremely misleading. Higher service is better not only because it increases happiness, but also because it increases the time between visits.įinally, there's liberty happiness. Health, Entertainment, and Religion are mostly just a matter of making sure there are enough slots available for tropicans to receive service. Workplace happiness can generally be raised by increasing budgets and upgrading buildings, but there's generally only so much you can raise this one. You can also increase housing happiness in a radius with the alternative workmodes on the fast food joint and the fire station, as well as an upgrade on the fashion company. Low-income housing generates roughly 5 dollars net, middle around 15, and high a whopping 45. Try and make sure you've got your Tropicans in the highest value housing for their income bracket, as not only will this increase their happiness, but also generates income. It's easy (albeit expensive) to just turn up the budget on your houses. That's it, only reason it's lower on this list is because they don't come online until Cold War and are a little harder to place. Build a dump, build a waste treatment facility. Restaurants can also increase food happiness. Additionally, the grocery store can sell consumer goods (Rum, Chocolate, Furniture, Etc) which (presumably) increases the visitor's overall happiness. Food happiness is easily raised by increasing budget, having multiple types of food (you can look at the trade menu for a full list), setting canning factories to supply local market, and through the food for the people and prohibition edicts. They have the fastest turnaround of.all buildings that Tropicans visit, so they can service a huge number of people. Grocery stores and Shopping malls are the next best. Interestingly, the increase in efficiency is usually enough to offset the increase in crime from the prohibition edict. The Always on Duty workmode doesn't show up in the almanac or the overlay, so I'm not exactly sure how that one works. You can set their budget to high (or even max if you're feeling fiesty) and it will generate enough safety happiness to satisfy everyone in a pretty huge radius. Police Stations are probably the easiest way to generate happiness, and they make a huge amount of crime safety around them, and don't care how many officers they have. I'll just copy it for you:įortunately, T6 may be the easiest game in the series to keep citizens happy. I actually posted a novel on this exact subject a couple of days ago.
